I discovered Dennis Cooper through the audiobook version of Susie Bright's Best American Erotica 2007. I believe his story was the second or third in the collection. Actually, It was not a story, but an excerpt from The Sluts. I found it disturbing and arousing. I have been a fan since. Below an excerpt from DC's Ugly Man. There is nothing arousing about this one. But still good DC writing.
